PIZZA BAKING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (about 177°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cassava flour, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Slowly add the olive oil and warm water to the dry ingredients, mixing as you go. Stir until a dough forms. If the dough is too dry, you can add a little more warm water, a tablespoon at a time.
  4. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and pliable.
  5. Place the dough on the pizza tray. I dont put any paper on the tray because sometimes the cassava dough sticks to the paper when it’s done cooking. I just spray a little bit of olive oil on the tray before baking.
  6. Use your hands to shape the dough into a pizza crust of your desired thickness. You can make it thin or thick, depending on your preference.
  7. Par-bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until it firms up slightly. This step helps ensure the crust won’t become soggy when you add the toppings.
  8. While the crust is baking, you can prepare your toppings. Spread the tomato pizza sauce evenly over the partially baked crust.
  9. Layer the pepperoni, shredded rotisserie chicken, sliced onions, and sliced green pepper on top of the sauce.
  10. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the toppings, ensuring everything is well-covered.
  11. Return the assembled pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, and the toppings are cooked to your liking.
  12. Once the pizza is ready, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two before slicing and serving.
