For those wanting to purchase trip coverage/cancellation cover for their cruise, here is an example of what a cruise travel insurance looks like. After searching for suitable and reasonably priced trip insurance for our cruise, we settled for this one from AXA Assistance USA. Emergency accident & Sickness Medical Expense (secondary coverage): $25,000 ($0 Deductible)

Medical Evacuation / Repatriation: $100,000

Lost Baggage / Personal Effects: $750; $150 per Article, $250 combined limit for valuables

Baggage Delay (24hours): $200 

24-Hour AD&D: $10,000

Common Carrier AD&D (Air Only): $25,000
