TRAVEL FASHION TRENDS FALL WINTER 2020
To inspire your fall and winter travel style, here is our round-up post of what the designers showcased on their runways and what we think will be suitable for traveling. Whether it’s a road trip or airport travel—you will find something to boost your travel style from the travel fashion trends for the fall and winter seasons of 2020.
FLARE TROUSERS | LUG SOLE/PLATFORM BOOTS | ALL NATURAL TONES OUTFIT
A more visible fashion trend for fall and winter 2020 embraces tucking a wide-leg trouser in lug sole boots or booties. Whether it’s a combat look you’re after, or neutral colors combo, or a wide-leg jean trouser outfit— you will not go wrong to go all out when it comes to this trend. The look below has Brown Leather Platform Boots; Straight Suit Pants; Straight Suit Blazer.
For a while now, in the fashion industry, we have been experiencing a trend of all natural-look grow exponentially. This trend is not going anywhere anytime soon. The obsession with a minimal looking style is on the rise. Neutral colors are well mixed with other loud colors, or clothing items of the same color can be worn, from head to toe. Cream and beige are the most common, but you will also see caramel and sand colors taking center stage. Designers that have showcased this look in their fall and winter fashion shows include Sandro, Iro and Yeezy.
LEATHER IS HERE TO STAY
Last season leather items were at the forefront of various fashion shows. It’s not surprising that the trend stuck around and became the show stopper of many fall and winter 2020 runways. Fendi and Versace were some of the big names showcasing the leather trend. We saw many leather coats, simple leather dresses, as well as trousers paired with jackets. See Leather Dress; Black Shaft Boots below.
YELLOW, YELLOW, YELLOW
A bold yellow look made its appearance on the fall and winter 2020 runaway. We are talking about dresses and maxi coats that are bright yellow in color. Many people might be a bit reluctant to wear anything in such a bright color, but these dresses and long coats are very fashionable, and they sure do leave a statement. Sies Marjan and Christopher John Rogers were some of the designers with bold yellow looks, just like this Yellow Loose Dress.
BLUE AND BROWN
A combination of a neutral color and blue was popular on the fashion runways of fall and winter 2020. Most designers showcased how a bright color can be fashionably mixed with something neutral— but Miu Miu did a fantastic job mixing blue with dark brown. Here we have Brown Silk Satin Blazer; Brown Silk Satin Pants; Turquoise Blue Woven Shoe.
ANIMAL PRINTS
We are talking about everything with animal prints— stripes, spots, scales, just like leopards, tigers, and cheetahs. Other animal prints that have been popping up quite a lot include zebra skins and snakes, but tiger prints were the most loved by designers in the fall and winter fashion shows. Although the animal prints look has been a trend for a while, it has not died down still. The fabric used for the animal prints has been changing over the years—that is the only small change. Different designers have embraced animal prints— Burberry, Ricardo Tisci, and many more. Below we have Animal Print Jumpsuit; Black Shaft Boots.
