MIAMI BEACH FLORIDA
A stop in Miami is never a quick stop (when taking a Florida East Coast road trip). There is so much to see—the beaches in the city of Miami Beach, Lincoln Road Mall, as well as a lot of attractions in The City of Miami (mainland Miami) especially colorful walls filled with graffiti.
Almost every beach in Miami Beach has white sand and clear water—but not every beach is grand. A few popular and recommended beaches are South Beach, and Matheson Hammock Park & Marina—South Beach is the most sought after neighborhood because of its beach, nightlife, and restaurants with celebrity chefs.
If you have time, be sure to head over to Crandon Park Beach and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, on Key Biscayne island. You can also explore further, if you have a few days to spare, and visit the beautiful Sombrero Beach in Marathon, Key West, and Homestead Bayfront Park in Homestead. See our post on what to wear in Florida for inspiration on Florida outfit style.
SOUTH BEACH
This is where people tend to go for a holiday in Miami Beach. You will get families, girls who have traveled to Miami on a girls trip, as well as models posing for pictures for their projects. Shopping, restaurants, and nightclubs are perfectly arranged to properly be accessible to holidaymakers staying in the nearby resorts, as well as day visitors. The promenade, every few minutes, is graced by roller skaters in their tight shorts and shirtless, showing off their shiny abs.
HAULOVER BEACH PARK
Another perfect beach in Miami, Haulover Beach Park, is located to the north of South Beach and has a beautiful ambiance. This beach is very popular, especially during the weekends—part of the reason being, dogs are allowed and the bathrooms are tidy. The paid parking lot is quite big and the charges are reasonable.
