GARDENS BY THE BAY & SUPERTREES IN SINGAPORE: WHAT YOU MUST SEE

In life, you will see or encounter a few things that will leave you feeling overwhelmed and appreciative of man and the works of his hands. For me—it is the Gardens by the Bay. The amount of detail and time that went into creating this garden is astounding. These are the spots you must go to when you visit the Gardens by the Bay.

Cloud Forest

The cloud forest is a big indoor greenhouse that has vegetation and walkways with very beautiful views of the supertrees and the Bay area. The most popular attraction here is the waterfalls—located right at the entrance you cannot miss the spot. As you leave the falls and walk further up into the dome you will pass sculptures and flowers that add so much beauty to this area.

On the other side of the supertrees and flower dome, there is a tree garden facing the Marina Bay skyline. This garden is 32 hectares and has beautiful views of Singapore.

Sculptures around the Gardens

If you are interested in art—especially sculptures—there are so many of them around gardens by the bay. The Pamela Hat sculpture, located in front of The Meadows, is one of the interesting ones. The Moongate sculpture has an interesting story behind it. It sits near the bayfront and represents the natural world, shifting sands, tongues of flames different forms of clouds. You can ask for a sculpture guide at the entrance.
